One of the most excellent storytelling sequences in video games, according to many gamers, is BioWare’s original Mass Effect trilogy.
A lot of people liked the script and the characters in the game, but how would that translate into a movie or TV series? Fortunately, we can find out in the future.
Indeed, Deadline has claimed that Amazon is planning to produce a TV series based on the Mass Effect series and that they are close to making a deal to make it happen.
“You will see us continue to invest in fantasy genre of all kinds, we have a genre-focused field team in the studios that works tirelessly with our creative partners on these slates, and you can anticipate more,” said the head of Amazon Studios. Jennifer Salke added.
Despite Amazon’s delay in entering the streaming market, it has made up for lost time.
Following the success of their first program, they have developed a number of shows which have been very well received, such as The Boys, and most recently a new television series based on Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time book series has launched, which would cost $ 10 million per episode.
They are also developing The Lord of the Rings TV series, which is slated to premiere in September 2022.
