Colorado (1-4) is heading west to the Golden State for a game against California (1-4) on Saturday, October 23. Kick-off will be at 1:30 p.m. MDT and will be televised nationally (sort of) on the Pac-12 network.
The Buffaloes and Golden Bears are two of three teams currently winless in conference. That number will be reduced to at least two, with Colorado hosting Arizona at Folsom Field this week. CU has the worst offensive outing of any Pac-12 team averaging 8.2 points per game.
The Pac-12 have an excellent two-week fixture list with a few non-conference clashes.
Here’s a look at the remaining conference games in two weeks.
Friday, October 22, 2021
7:30 p.m. MT – Washington to Arizona, ESPN2
Saturday 23 October 2021
1:30 p.m. MT – Oregon to UCLA, ABC or ESPN (National)
5:30 p.m. MT – Utah at Oregon State, Pac-12 Network
The game against Cal will be Colorado’s first trip to the state of California this season. They will also face UCLA in Rose bowl November 13. As for the all-time record between CU and Cal, the two teams have traded wins in the last five meetings since 2011, and the home side have won four of the previous five.
The only exception was a 36-33 overtime loss to the Buffs at Boulder a year before officially joining the Pac-12 conference. In addition, it could be the occasion for CU to secure its first victory at Berkeley since 1968.
