Piers Morgan’s new television studio presents a first in British television.
The TV presenter – who quit ITV’s Good Morning Britain after a row with meteorologist Alex Beresford over comments he made about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – will return to UK TV for his new show , which begins April 25.
Ahead of the start of his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, TalkTV gave Piers fans a preview of the sleek new studio, which they say features something never seen on UK TV news before. Piers will appear on television at 8 p.m., while his friend and fellow presenter Sharon Osbourne will also host a show on the new channel.
Taking to Twitter to show off the new set, TalkTV wrote: “Piers Morgan’s new studio creates a remarkable 360-degree multi-angle set and LED arch never before seen on UK TV news.
“TalkTV launches April 25! 7:00 p.m. The News Desk, 8:00 p.m. Piers Morgan Uncensored, 9:00 p.m. The Talk.”
Piers recently described his exit from Good Morning Britain as “a prank” and is “delighted” that it ended up happening.
“It was all just a prank,” he said, “I’m delighted that as a result we ended up with a whole network that is now dedicated to preventing this kind of prank from happening again. You shouldn’t be shamed, reviled or dismissed for having an opinion.”
In March, Piers said he should never have been “forced” out of GMB for expressing his “honest opinion”.
“A year ago to the day, I was forced to quit a job I loved, at the height of its success, for having the audacity to express an honest opinion,” he told AFP. ‘era. “This shouldn’t happen in any democracy. Supposedly built on the principles of free speech and free speech. I’m thrilled to be back on live TV now with a new daily show.
“Its main purpose is to undo the cancel culture that has infected societies around the world. I want it to be a platform for heated debates, topical interviews and that increasingly taboo word to three letters: fun. I also want him to annoy all the good people.”
The show, called Piers Morgan Uncensored, will be part of the primetime launch program for the new Talk TV channel.
