MANILA, Philippines – Kapamilya presenter Karen Davila was back on the “TV Patrol” live show on January 14, after days without being able to be in the studio as her entire family was hit with COVID-19 .
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Jan. 15, Karen also noted how all of ABS-CBN’s primetime news anchors were able to defeat the virus.
Said COVID-19 survivors are Alvin Elchico, Bernadette Sembrano and Gretchen Fullido.
Karen wrote in the caption, “And just like that…my first day back at work in the studio! WE’RE BACK on #TVPatrol.
“Did you know that we are all survivors of COVID19? Bernadette caught the bug first – early last year, Gretch and I together over the holidays, and Alvin early this year.
“There is not a single family I know that has been spared from COVID but thank God most symptoms are mild.”
The presenter also encouraged Internet users to get vaccinated. “If there’s one thing COVID has taught us all, it’s to take no one and any day for granted. Get vaccinated and boosted already! Do it out of love for you and your family!”
