Brian K. Vaughan’s Eisner award-winning comic book series Paper Girls, the spectacular young girls of paper delivery, is officially slated to premiere in Australia this month. This new sci-fi drama series follows the journey of four young girls who accidentally time-travel to the future.
With their future selves in front of them, they can either face or deny their destiny. And not only do they have to deal with their future life, but their entanglement between conflicting groups of time travelers catapults them into a series of world-altering adventures they never saw coming.

The series is set in the wee hours of the morning after Halloween night in 1988. While delivering newspapers, four 12-year-old girls – Rosinsky, Jones, Nelet, Strazza – time traveled to 1988 and transported to in 2019.
Arriving in the future, the four paper girls are caught in the crossfire between two groups of time travelers. In order to survive, the girls must seek help from themselves to find a way home and escape their would-be captors.
As they travel between present, past and future, they encounter future versions of themselves. Meeting their future counterparts face to face, they can only embrace or reject their fate.
As they meet their future, they see how their childhood hopes, dreams and ambitions blossom, so each girl discovers her own strengths as she tries to find a way back home, to her real life. , while saving the world.
Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, has struck an exclusive deal with Amazon Studios to adapt the comic into a series. The Paper Girls series has Brian K. Vaughan, Cliff Chiang, Christopher Cantwell, and Christopher C. Rogers as executive producers.
