Rescue work featured in new TV show
A television series based on the real-life experiences of members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department Rescue Squad is produced and distributed by Screen Gems, Inc., a television subsidiary of Columbia Pictures Corp. The series has been sold to over 100 stations and is currently telecast by approximately 80 of them. The weekly 30-minute show will feature 39 incidents and may be extended depending on the response. Although technically accurate, the program is entertainment rather than a documentary.
