
HICKORY, North Carolina—Home networking solutions provider CommScope has announced that Telenor Sverige AB is rolling out its VIP5702W set-top box powered by Google’s Android TV to customers in Sweden.

The VIP5702W set-top box offers 4K ultra-high definition video and comes with selectable dual-band Wi-Fi for flexible deployment in Telenor’s managed networks. The set-top box also offers users a state-of-the-art interface and Android TV features for an enhanced viewing experience, CommScope said.

The set-top box’s live and on-demand viewing experience uses 24i’s software platform which supports compelling features such as unified search and single sign-on while enabling the Telenor team to create and design their own user interfaces.
