
It’s officially a new year, but we’re already in the middle of the 2021-2022 TV season, which has been jam-packed with series to keep you entertained – but not all of them will return for next season. Series can’t go on forever, and networks only have a limited number of slots to fill, so everything has to end eventually (planned or not). Here is a list of all the TV series that will end this year. (Stay tuned as this list is always being updated.)
- It’s us
It’s time to face the harsh reality: popular drama This Is Us is coming to an end. NBC revealed in May 2021 that the drama series’ sixth season would be its last – and now we know when the Pearson family story will end.
- You better call Saul
Better Call Saul is a television series produced by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. It is a prequel, sequel, and spin-off to Gilligan’s previous series, Breaking Bad. Set primarily in the early to mid-2000s in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows Jimmy McGill, a serious lawyer and former con artist, as he evolves into Saul Goodman, an arrogant criminal defense attorney. AMC confirmed in January 2020 that the program would return for a sixth and final season, split into two parts, this year. The first part will air on April 18, 2022, while the second part will air on July 11, 2022.
- Walking Dead
The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman. The series features a large cast cast as survivors of a zombie apocalypse trying to stay alive in the face of near-constant onslaughts from zombies known as “walkers” (among other nicknames). With the fall of modern society, these survivors are forced to encounter other human survivors who have established organizations and tribes with their own rules and morals, sometimes leading to open and aggressive warfare. AMC announced in August 2020 that the long-running zombie series would end with a massive 11th season, which will air over two years and end in 2022.

Ozark is a Netflix Original crime drama series written by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams and produced by MRC. Marty and Wendy Byrde, a married couple who moves their family to the Lake of the Ozarks for money laundering, are played by Jason Bateman and Laura Linney on the show. Netflix has renewed the highly acclaimed drama for a fourth and final season, which will premiere in June 2020. The fourth season has been split into two parts, the premiere of which premiered on January 21, 2022. The release date of the The second half of the latest season has yet to be confirmed, but it will most likely be released before the end of this year, ending one of our favorite crime dramas.
- Peaky Blinders
Peaky Blinders is a British historical crime drama television series created by Steven Knight. It is set in Birmingham, England, and chronicles the adventures of the criminal group Peaky Blinders in the aftermath of World War I. The fictional gang is partly based on the urban youth gang of the same name which operated in the town from the 1890s through the 1910s. on February 27, 2021, would be the program’s last in January 2021, but the show’s creator, Steven Knight, informed the publication that the story will end with a post-season six feature film. .
